Genesee Valley Bottle Collectors Association

In 2022, we had our first show since the pandemic hit in 2020 forcing us to postpone our show for 2 years.  The excitement was hard to contain as we were getting the band back together to continue our annual Show & Sale.  This was our 51st Annual Show & Sale and we once again had a great line up of exhibitors to tantalize our eye balls with their amazing displays.  There were 10 displays altogether.

Mark Phinney & Richard Campbell both from Rochester, NY won BEST OF SHOW and MOST EDUCATIONAL for their wonderful "Royal Doulton" display.  The PEOPLE'S CHOICE award, decided by voting from the attendees to our sale, was presented to Peter Jablonski (Akron, NY), Terry McMurray (Kirkwood, NY), and John Burton on their collaboration of "Dr. Claris - The Great Horse Healer" display.  Their display included bottles, many with original labels, jugs, and advertising from this veterinary medicine proprietor from Buffalo, NY.  In addition, we had the BEST INSULATOR DISPLAY award this year and we did have two insulator displays.  This award went to Tom Palone from Rochester, NY for his display of the "Insulators of the Chamber's National Lighting Protection Co."

Congratulations and THANK YOU to all our exhibitors for sharing your collections!!  It was another successful show at Roberts Wesleyan College - Voller Athletic Center , 2301 Westside Drive, Rochester, NY 14624.  It will be our 52nd Show & Sale next time and Roberts Wesleyan is a UNIVERSITY now with a change of the name over the summer of 2022.  Look out for another full slate of spectacular displays!
